Three Camel Lodge: Five Days / Four Nights

The ultimate getaway to the Gobi, this five-day, four-night journey allows you to experience the magic of Mongolia. First, see the undulating dunes of Hongoryn Els, known as the Singing Sands because of the sounds emitted when the the wind blows. Travel to Gegeet Valley, where the elusive snow leopard makes its home, then visit Yol Valley, a nature lover’s paradise and habitat for many of the region’s indigenous creatures. Havstgait Valley’s ancient rock carvings provide insight into Mongolia’s past, while a visit to the local town of Bulgan offers a firsthand look at life in a modern Gobi village. Of course, no visit to the Gobi is complete without a stop at the Flaming Cliffs, named for their orange glow at sunset. While your days are filled with exciting adventures in the world’s northernmost desert, your nights are spent in a private ger at Three Camel Lodge, which offers an elevated take on the traditional nomadic lifestyle.
